登山届けを出す
Submit a hiking registration

登山届けは万が一遭難したときの命綱です。家族にも登山計画を伝えておくようにしましょう。
A hiking registration is a lifeline in case of distress. Also tell your family the hiking plan.

上りと下りは上り優先
A person climbing-up has the right-of-way over a person climbing down

一人分の幅の道で他の人と出会ったら、基本的には上りの人が優先です。譲り合って気持ちよく歩きましょう。
If you meet a person when you are walking on a trail of a width of only one person, basically, the person climbing up is prioritized. Give way to each other, and walk pleasantly.

環境への負荷を意識する

時間短縮や写真撮影のために登山道を外れて歩くのはNG。植物を踏み荒らすことが、生き物の命を奪うことになります。
Do not walk in areas other than the trail for taking a shortcut or taking pictures. Treading upon plants will kill living things.

植物や石を採取しない
Do not collect plants or stones

健やかな生態系を守るためには、なるべくその環境を変えないことが大切。植物や石の採取は、少量でもやめましょう。
In order to protect healthy ecosystems, it is important not to change the environment as much as possible. Do not collect plants or stones even if the amount is small.

ゴミは家まで持ち帰る
Bring garbage home

山に持ち込んだゴミは、必ず家まで持ち帰りましょう。宿泊する山小屋に捨てるのもマナー違反です。
Bring home the garbage you brought into the mountains for sure. It is also a breach of manners to throw garbage away at mountain huts.

山小屋には早めの到着を
Plan to reach the mountain hut early

宿泊する山小屋には日が落ちる前に到着するのが暗黙のルール。予定より遅れそうなときは、必ず連絡を。
It is an unspoken rule to reach a mountain hut you are staying at before dark. If you will be late, make sure to contact the hut staff.

吊り橋は大人数で渡らない
Do not cross a suspension bridge with a large number of people at the same time

吊り橋には人数制限があります。大人数で同時に吊り橋を渡ると危険ですので、順番に渡るようにしましょう。
There is limitation of the number of people for a suspension bridge. It is dangerous if you cross a suspension bridge with a large number of people at a time. Cross in turn.
